Alice Goodrich

Alice Delores Goodrich, 90, of Lachine passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at home.

Alice Delores Wallin was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 5, 1930 to the late Fredrick and Mary (Wetmore) Wallin. Alice moved to Alpena County in 1933 and has been a lifelong resident since.  On October 20, 1948, she married Sidney Ferris Goodrich. Together they had three children.  Alice was an active member of Spratt United Methodist Church, avid gardener, canner and spending time with her loved ones and dear friends.  Sidney preceded her in death on October 7, 2015.

Surviving are her three children, Thomas (Norma) Goodrich, Judy (Steve) Gregory, Michael Goodrich; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings Fred (Karen) Wallin, Joan McHarg, Mary Waldron, Agnes (Dale) Clingenpeel, and Carol (Tim) MacGregor.

Mrs. Goodrich was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Arlie McHarg, Gary Mitchell, and George Goodrich.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.  A graveside service will take place at King Settlement Cemetery at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan or Spratt United Methodist Church’s Woman’s Group.
