Shirley Margaret Holstein, 72, of Alpena passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Medilodge of Alpena.
Shirley Margaret Lytle was born in Alpena on December 1, 1946 to the late Ernest and Annie (Kenwell) Lytle. On August 18, 1966 she married Tony Holstein. Shirley enjoyed playing Bingo and making baby quilts.
Surviving are her husband, Toney; three children, James Holstein, Steven (Shelly McGirr) Holstein, Rose Cullison; 3 grandchildren, Britany McGirr, Amber (Josh) Barker, Alexander Fetty; two great grandchildren, Isaac, Madeline; six siblings, Betty Holstein, Rose Vickery, Linda Keeler, David “Bill” Griffith, Karen Moore, and Tracy Fisher.
Mrs. Holstein was preceded in death by her six siblings, Sharon Compton, JoAnne Adams, Robert Lytle, Gary Lytle, Donald Lytle, and Louise Maskell.
Visitation will take place Tuesday at Bannan Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until the funeral service at 4 p.m. with Rev. Arthur Fournier officiating.
Interment: Sanborn Township Cemetery
