Lyle Edwin Vredenburg

July 24, 1945 ~ June 29, 2018 (age 72)

Lyle Edwin Vredenburg, 72, of Ossineke passed away suddenly Friday, June 29, 2018 in Cedarville of an apparent heart attack.

Lyle was born on July 24, 1945 to the late Walter and Thaida (Wilds) Vredenburg and married Jeanette Dziesinski on October 8, 1966 at St. Mary Catholic Church.  Lyle served in the United States Army National Guard for 7 years and retired in 2005 from the Besser Company following 43 years of work.  He had been an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and most recently at St. Catherine Catholic Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister.  He enjoyed going to his hunting camp, hunting, fishing, putting on hobo dinners and vegetable gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Jeanette; son, Jeremy and Jodi Vredenburg; 3 grandchildren, Clinton, Savannah, Daniel; brother, Gerald and Shirley Vredenburg; 2 sisters, Verla Keller, Dorothy and William Foster; brother-in-law, Carl and Jeanette Joy; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Vredenburg was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Vredenburg; 3 sisters, Jeanne Joy, Shirley Burns and Judith Fettes.

Mr. Vredenburg is at the Bannan Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and will continue Tuesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Fitzpatrick officiating.

Interment: St. Catherine Cemetery
