Kendall Earl Fader

September 10, 1947 ~ January 22, 2018 (age 70)

Kendall “Ken” Earl Fader, 70, of Lachine passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, as the result of an auto accident.

Ken was born September 10, 1947, in Flint to the late Clemens and Lula (Bell) Fader. On July 18, 1992, he married Nancy Duffiney. He worked for General Motors for 39 years, retiring in 2005. Ken was a member of TriPoint Church of God and Calvert Park Community Church of God in Flint. He as an amateur ham radio operator, enjoyed spending time on his tractor and loved his “Ozzie” and “Lacey”.   Ken was dedicated to his church, helping others and for the past three years has delivered meals-on-wheels for Alpena Senior Citizens.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy; four children, Cary Fader, Tina (Mark) Latesky, Dawn Beswetherick, Toby (Christina) Fader; two step children, Brian Duffiney, Cary Ann Snider; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas (Jan) Fader, Donald (Debra) Fader, and Larry (Belinda) Fader.

Mr. Fader was preceded in death by his step son, Joseph Lancewicz; one grandchild; and sister, Patricia Korpi.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and continue Saturday at TriPoint Church of God from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 noon with Pastor Mike Potter officiating.
