Jane Genevieve (Kieliszewski) Krajniak

September 21, 1926 ~ July 27, 2018 (age 91)

Jane Genevieve Krajniak, 91, of Alpena passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at Turning Brook.

Jane Genevieve Kieliszewski was born September 21, 1926 in Posen to the late John and Frances (Kierzek) Kieliszewski. On August 30, 1947, she married Philip Krajniak. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2006. Jane was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, its Rosary Society and choir, Aide by the Dozen, hospital auxiliary and the prayer chain.

Surviving are her 5 sons, Gerald (Janice) Krajniak, Richard (Jan Ellen) Krajniak, Alan (Sally) Krajniak, Glenn (Vicki) Krajniak, Paul Krajniak; daughter-in-law, Magga Krajniak; 11 grandchildren, Curtis (Amy) Krajniak, Kelli (Ron) Parker, Andy (Shannon) Krajniak, Matt Krajniak, Erika (Gabe) Johnson, Kimberley Krajniak, Cory (Desiree) Krajniak, Jessica (Mark) Gable, Brian Krajniak, Jonathon Krajniak, Nicholas (Stella) Krajniak, Gabrielle Krajniak; 12 great grandchildren, Jaz Krajniak, Cooper Krajniak, Cole Krajniak, Mikaiyla Massey, Mackensie Massey, Hannah Gable, Sophie Gable, Brody Gable, Drew Parker, Avery Parker, Claire Krajniak, Marshall Krajniak; brother, Clifford Kieliszewski; 4 sisters, Virginia Tadajewski, Rita (Richard) Losinski, MaryAnn Benkert, Emily (Alton) Cantrell; sister-in-law, Kathy Kieliszewski.

Mrs. Krajniak was preceded in death by her son, Brian; 2 brothers, Harry Kieliszewski, Daniel Kieliszewski; 3 sisters, Frances Kieliszewski, Alice Tadajewski, and Blondine Kieliszewski.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. with a rosary at 3 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m.   Visitation will continue Wednesday at St. Mary Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.

Interment:  Holy Cross Cemetery
