Eva Mae Chrzan, 85, of Alpena passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Sally’s Care Home.
Eva Mae Grzeskowiak was born in Alpena on April 23, 1933 to the late John and Eva (Sylvester) Grzeskowiak and married Adolph Chrzan on November 6, 1954. He preceded her in death on February 29, 2016. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church of All Saints Parish and enjoyed flower gardening and baking bread.
Surviving are her 6 children, Donald (Sherri) Grzeskowiak, Diana (Robin) Zielaskowski, Denise (Danny) Thiem, Brian (Tina) Chrzan, Lori (Steven) Mischloney, Kevin Chrzan; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 6 siblings, George (Betty) Grzeskowiak, Joseph (Diane) Grzeskowiak, Robert Grzeskowiak, William (Elaine) Grzeskowiak, Frances Mahalak, Albert (Gayle) Grzeskowiak; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Chrzan was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Tony Grzeskowiak, Louis Grzeskowiak, John Grzeskowiak, Walt Grzeskowiak; and a sister, Rose Elliott.
Visitation will take place on Friday at St. John the Baptist Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
