Edna Emma Elowsky, 90, of Hillman passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her home.
Edna Emma Koenig was born on May 17, 1929, in Royston to the late Frederick and Helena (Mantei) Koenig. Following graduation from regular school, she taught for eight years. On July 17, 1954, she married Earl W. Elowsky. Edna was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Earl; seven children, Dr. Earl (Carol) Elowsky, Paul (Donna) Elowsky, Michelle (Kenneth) Ferrier, Beth Gojkov, Rev. Dr. Joel (Joy) Elowsky, Lisa (Narayanan) Sivaraman, Jacqueline (Rev. Dr. David) Petersen; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Koenig.
Mrs. Elowsky was preceded in death by her infant son; son-in-law, Andrew Gojkov; eight brothers, William, Raymond, Otto, Carl, Herman, Martin, Edwin, Paul; four sisters, Olga Moggie, Helen Schultz, Ida Schultz, and Ruth Schultz.
Visitation will take place at St. John Lutheran Church, Royston on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and continue there Thursday from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jason Mandley officiating.
