Born December 6, 1925 in Hamtramck to the late Edward and Veronica
(Friedrych) Schloss. Mrs. Wozniak retired from the Department of Pu=
blic
Health #4, Alpena, in 1985 following 18 years of public health nursing.&n=
bsp;
Prior to that she worked as a RN at hospitals in Rogers City and Alpena, =
was
a nurse to two private physicians in Posen and did school nursing at Posen
Consolidated High School. Family members said she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and best
friend who enjoyed the company of her family and friends and taught them =
the
meaning of family loyalty, independence, and having fun in life. She
loved to cook, play bridge, golf and snow shoe. She is survived by her husband Jerry, whom she married on October =
16,
1948; children, Kathy (Bob) Jacques of Chesterfield, Chris (Julie) Woznia=
k of
Alpena, Connie (Pete) Bruski of Traverse City, and Carl (Deb) Wozniak of
Marquette; grandchildren Kevin (Tammy) Jacques of Alabama, Casey Jacques =
of
Clinton Twp., Scott (Lori) Bruski of Howell, Nick (Amanda) Bruski of
California, Dana Bruski of Washington, Katie Wozniak of Ann Arbor, Andrew
Wozniak of Alpena, and Benjamin and Erica Wozniak of Marquette; great
grandchild Blake Bruski of California. Additionally, she leaves beh=
ind
many beloved in-laws and friends. Family and friends may call at the Bannan Funeral Home on Sunday f=

2-8 p.m. and on Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until tim=

Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Kenneth Stachnik and Fr. Greg McCall=
