Kenneth Joseph Skiba, 48, of Alpena, went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Kenneth was born in Alpena on December 31, 1958 to Raymond J. Skiba and Grace J. (Adamski) Skiba. On July 25, 1992 he married Lori L. Hasse at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Alpena. They were blessed with 14 years of marriage. Kenneth was Assistant Manager at Wendy's.
He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, carving, fishing and fly tying. He was very thankful for his many friends and acquaintances who always took the time to talk with him.
Kenneth was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a Special Minister of the Holy
Eucharist, an usher, Rosary Group #13, and Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th degree.
He was a loving and devoted husband, brother, and uncle.
Surviving are his wife, Lori; mother, Grace; 3 brothers: Raymond L. (Joan) Skiba of Alpena, Walter F. (Bonnie) Skiba of Chattanooga, TN, and Thomas R. (Lorie) Skiba of Kernersville, NC; sister, Grace Ann (Daniel) Kline of Alpena; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father, Raymond, April 25, 2002.
Mr. Skiba is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Friday from 2-8 p.m. with a rosary at 3:00 p.m. and parish prayer service with 4th degree Knights of Columbus at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Greg McCallum officiating.
Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart
Association.
