Marvin Harry Schultz, 68, of 6865 N. Stout Rd. Hubbard Lake a beloved dad & treasured grandpa died peacefully watching his cherished Detroit Tigers, Saturday September 15, 2007 at home.

Born in Alpena County to Franz and Rosina (Messal) Schultz on December 14, 1938. Mr. Schultz served in the U.S. Army and engage in farming most of his life. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.

Surviving are 4 children Ty and wife Tina of Belleville, Marva Schultz of Ypsilanti, Lyn and husband Daniel Marshall of Belleville, Todd and wife Kate of Kalamazoo, 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Courtney, 4 sisters Mathilda Glaser, Hilma Beitler, Gertrude Thiem, Hertha Ferguson, 2 brothers Franz (Loraine) and Gustav (Norma), and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Schultz was preceded in death by 5 brothers William, Henry, Edmund, Ewald, Donald, 3 sisters Lena Bartz, Elsie Haselhuhn and Rosina Erkfitz.

Mr. Schultz is at the Hope Lutheran Church where friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and where funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Herbert Kitzman officiating. Arrangements by Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Salem Cemetery
