Dean Edward Hudson, 55, of Alpena passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Dean was born in Fort Gratiot on November 4, 1954 to the late Harry Mauriel (Thompson) Hudson. He owned and operated Hudson Motor Sales until his retirement in 2007. Mr. Hudson enjoyed boating, fishing and being involved within his community.

Surviving are 2 children, Crystal Hudson, Marc (Tracey) Hudson, 2 grandchildren, Joseph, Kaydance, his fiancée Colleen Karry, 2 brothers, Jim (Shirley) Hudson and John (Donna) Hudson.

Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his wife Susann e and a brother Gary.

Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 12 noon until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. with Elder Lee Hall officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Flippis Foundation.
