Roy N. Hall, 84, of 2647 Hobbs Drive, Alpena, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on Thursday, June 24, 2010.

Born in Hillman on July 4, 1925 to the late Thomas and Abigail Hall. Roy married the former Patricia Marie Downing on August 7, 1956, and she preceded him in death on August 20, 2009. Roy worked for the Ford dealership in Alpena where they gave him the nickname "General."

Surviving are one son, Paul Hall and his fiancee Peggy Westbrook; granddaughter, Anna Marie Hall; sister, Dixie Demsey; nephews, Bob (Denise) Downing, Larry (Sherry) Garlanger; and a niece, Bonnie Faubert.

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Gerald, Charles, Cecil and Eugene.

Cremation arrangements have been made with the Bannan Funeral Home. A private graveside service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
