Suzanne Gladys Gries, 60, of 1085 Oakridge Drive, Alpena, passed away at home on Friday, July 30, 2010.

Born in Alpena on February 22, 1950 to the late George and Gladys (Kannenburg) Glennie and married George Gries on November 12, 1969. Susie enjoyed playing Bingo.

Surviving are her husband George; 5 children, Dawn and Brian Manion, Tina Gries, Angie and Kevin McCartney, George and Shannon Gries, Jay and Nicole Gries; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 brothers, George and Judy Glennie, Edward and Gloria Glennie; several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Mrs. Gries was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Shirley Robokowski, Charlotte Cook; 2 brothers, Dale and Billy Glennie.

Mrs. Gries is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. Art Fournier officiating.
