Thelma Elnora Elowsky
, 68 of 6806 Smith Road, Alpena, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 17, 2010.

Elnora was born February 26, 1941, the youngest of nine children, in Marshton, MO to the late Jack and Ora (Derouse) Campbell. On April 9, 1969, she married Wayne Elowsky. Elnora retired from General Motors Parts Division, Swartz Creek, MI as a supervisor.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne; three children: Randy (Brenda) Mellberg of Alpena, Kimberly (Timothy) Dorow of Davison; Janice (Duane) Wilcox of Gladwin; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; four sisters: Della Mae Cribbs of Libourn, MO, Louise Cribbs of Flint, Lois Littreal of Marston, MO, Mary Smith of Mantee, MS; one brother: Mack Campbell of Flint; in-laws: Mary Sue Kingsbury, Dennis (Ernestine) Heringshausen of Alpena and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Herman, Pete and Carl Campbell.

Funeral services for Thelma Elnora Elowsky will be held at the Bannan Funeral Home Saturday, February 20, at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Larry Kirby officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Elnora battled lung cancer for over a year and a half. Help us defeat this deadly disease.
