Stephen L. Chapman, 58, of 11440 Sampson Road, Ossineke passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Born on April 10, 1951 to the late Eugene F. and Lois J. (Lyons) Chapman in Alpena and married Carol Sue Spicer on January 3, 1970.

Steve worked at Great North Foods and was a member of the Ossineke Eagles.

Surviving are wife: Sue; daughter Amy (Chuck) Drane of Noblesville, Indiana; 4 grandchildren: Chelsea Drane, Kara Chapman, Travis Drane, Brennan Drane; grandmother Lois W. Chapman; mother in law Marilyn J. Spicer; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by son Rodney in 1993; father in law Robert Spicer.

Family and friends may gather at the Bannan Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. with Rev. James Kendziorski officiating. Cremation has taken place.
