L. Kay Boldrey, 65, of Hillman, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Born on November 2, 1944 in Dearborn to June E. Stevens, being raised by her grandparents Harold and Lillian Stevens and married Garry Boldrey on February 3, 1962. Kay devoted her life to be a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. When she was not caring for her family she enjoyed shopping, crafts, sewing and an avid agate hunter.

Surviving are her husband Garry; four children: Garry and wife Peggy of Hillman, Bradley and wife Debbie of Hillman, Rodney and wife Mary of Buffalo, Wyoming, Kelly and husband Charles Bennett of Hillman; seven grandchildren: Dustin, Brittany, Kyle, Kourtney Boldrey, Samantha, Brooke, Addison Bennett; 1/2 brothers: Martin, Mike and Jay Gutka; Aunt: Muriel Watkins and cousin Wally Watkins.

Mrs. Boldrey is at the Bannan Funeral Home in HILLMAN where friends may call on Friday from 2-8. Visitation will continue on Saturday at Calvary Episcopal Church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mary Fitzgerald officiating.
