Helen Aube, 92, of Herron, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, July 2, 2010.

Helen was born August 19, 1917 in Hubbard Lake to the late David and Anna (Belanger) Pelleran and married Donia L. Aube on November 9, 1946. Donia preceded her in death on August 10, 2004.

Helen was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

Surviving are 4 daughters, Mary (Mrs. John) Hambrick of Pennsylvania, Rose Cavanagh of Herron, Jean (Mrs. Eric) Eggan of Lansing, June (Mrs. Mike) Rouleau of Hillman; 3 sons, Donald (Mark) of Bloomfield, Art (Dolly) of Georgia, Howard (Marge) of Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; Louise Aube of Alpena; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were a son, Paul; 1 great-grandson, Caleb Michael; 4 sisters, Rose, Emily, Marie, Gladys; and a brother, Percy.

Mrs. Aube is at the Bannan Funeral Home where family and friends may call on Monday from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. James Kendziorski officiating.
