Betty Jean Niergarth, 76, of 14774 Alfalfa Road, Lachine, passed away Monday, December 17, 2007, at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Surviving are her husband, W. LeRoy; 1 son, Paul of Alpena; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 brothers, John and Kathy Chabot of Lachine, Tom Chabot of Lachine; 1 sister, Rita Skiba of Arizona.

Mrs. Niergarth is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Michaud officiating.

Interment: Spratt Cemetery
