Larry I. Milligan, 73, of 634 Mac Avenue, Alpena, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at home in the company of his loving wife.

Born in Onaway on August 11, 1934 to Guy and Flossie Milligan, he married the former Beverly Robinson on June 22, 1955.
Larry worked as a telephone lineman for GTE for over 36 years, and was a member of the IBEW Local 1106 before retiring in 1995. Larry was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper for more than 60 years and looked forward to the time spent with family and friends doing these activities. Larry also enjoyed the time spent with friends and co-workers each morning over a cup of coffee and good conversation.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Bev; 4 children, Darrel (Marcia) Milligan of Alpena, Kathy (Jim) Kolson of Alpena, Bill (Kim) Milligan of Gladstone, Doug Milligan of Lansing; 8 grandchildren: Jamie Konieczny, Patrick Kolson, Bethel Milligan, Emily Slater, Ami & Ali Milligan, Bradley and Brendan Milligan; 4 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Jacob, Kayla and Derek; 2 brothers, Dale (Charlene) Milligan, Ron (Mary) Milligan; 2 sisters, Donna (Bill) Morgan, Doris Robere, mother-in-law, Claris Robinson, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Guy and Flossie Milligan; a son, Jeffery; great-granddaughter, Alexis Ludwig; and father-in-law, Bill Robinson.
Mr. Milligan is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and where the funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Elder James Morgan officiating.
