Eric Chester Krajniak, 28, of 18260 Maple Drive, Alpena, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, October 3, 2007.

Eric was born in Alpena on May 31, 1979 to Chester C. and Kathleen J. (Taratuta) Krajniak; and on July 2, 2005 he married the former Lori Corthals.  Eric was a  1998 graduate of Alpena High and was employed at Gildner's Concrete.  He loved Chevelles, demo derbies,  winning numerous trophies.  Eric was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.

 

Surviving are his wife, Lori; son, Kegan; parents, Chester and Kathleen Krajniak; 2 sisters, Lisa Skiba, Kristy (Mrs. Robert) Olsen; grandparents, Raymond Taratuta, Helen Smith, and Margaret Krajniak; nephew, Skyler; niece, Kaylee; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Henry Krajniak, Sr.

 

Family and friends may call at Bannan Funeral Home Sunday from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:15 p.m.  Visitation will continue Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Patrick Maher officiating.

 

Interment:  Holy Cross Cemetery
