Richard Andrew Jackson, 67, of 6411 Bear Springs Road, Hubbard Lake went to be with his Lord, December 3, 2007 at home.

Born February 7, 1940  in Detroit to late Robert and Lenore Jackson.  Mr. Jackson taught accounting at Wayne State University, U of M Dearborn and retired as vice president of Business Affairs at Pikeville College in Kentucky.

Surviving are his loving companion of 28 years Fern Sexton, 3 daughters Georgia and husband Ron Holbrook of Kentucky, Julie Spatafore of Eastpointe, Andrea and husband Tom McKahan of Kentucky; 3 sons Jerry Jackson of Kentucky, Richard and wife Kim Jackson of Eastpointe and Andrew Jackson of Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 1 brother Robert "Jack" of California.

Mr. Jackson is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and where funeral services will take place on Friday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Herbert Kitzman officiating.

Interment: Hubbard Lake Cemetery
