Dora Pauline Schultz, March 25, 1921 - July 31, 2012

Dora Pauline Schultz, 91, of 8610 Wolf Creek Road, Herron, passed away at Sally’s Care Home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, surrounded by her loving children.
Dora was born in Alpena on March 25, 1921 to the late John and Laura (Kauer) Hoeberling. On July 8, 1939 she married Herman Schultz, and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2009. Dora was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church and also enjoyed cards, singing, bingo, hunting, and traveling.

Surviving are 4 children, Irene Behning of Herron, Carol (Gary) Murner of Traverse City, Kenneth of Alpena, Randy of Ossineke; 7 grandchildren, Mike Behning, Mark (Nanette) Behning, Karen (Tony) Crowley, Chris Murner, Jason (Jenni) Schultz, Jamie (Camille) Schultz, Jesse Schultz; 2 step grandchildren, Janice (Barry) Zeivel, Robert (Christine) Murner; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; 3 step great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ida Eller, Ruth Wilke, Bertha Gerke; and sister-in-law, Rita Hoeberling.

Preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Henry John, and Herman; and 2 sisters, Alice Schiellerd and Laura Burgess.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bannan Funeral Home and will continue Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Herbert Kitzman officiating.

Interment: Salem Lutheran Cemetery
