Margaret Ann Idalski, 82, formerly of Alpena, passed away in Salisbury, NC on Friday, November 30, 2007.

Born Margaret Ann Lyons on January 1, 1925 to Fred and Celia (Almstead) Lyons in Alpena County and married Richard Idalski October 19, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1984.

She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Surviving are 1 son and 2 daughters: Glen and wife Donna Idalski, Mary and husband Chris Cox, Catherine and husband David Vanderhovel; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 1sister, Lois Chapman of Alpena; 2 brothers Fred and wife Rita Lyons, and Merton Lyons all of Alpena.

Mrs. Idalski was preceded in death by one daughter, Sue Ann Herdegen, in 2003; 3 sisters: Ruth Cole, Lenore Adamski, and Berna Wozniak.

Mrs. Idalski is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. Greg McCallum officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
