Marie S. Hiske, 92, of 2902 Connon Street, Alpena, passed away Friday, December 7, 2007, at Sunrise Adult Foster Care Home.

Marie was born January 23, 1915 in Alpena to the late Gustav and Anna (Heine) Hiske and spent her life on the family farm in Herron.

She was a faithful Christian and lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herron.

Preceding her in death were 2 brothers, Henry and Carl Hiske, and a sister, Esther Hiske.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herron on Sunday, December 9, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Mikkelson officiating.

Interment:  Wolf Creek Cemetery
