Theresa Mary Hanner of 11339 Ossineke Road, Ossineke died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the age of 79. Born October 20, 1928 to the late John and Edna (St. Charles) Kaiser in Wilson Township, Theresa was a life-long resident of the Alpena Area. On October 22, 1946, Theresa married Orvil M. Hanner at St. Rose Catholic Church and he preceded her in death, March 20, 2003.

Theresa was employed with the Besser Corporation for 15 years as a secretary, was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and Altar Society and former member of the Alpena Country Club.

Theresa is survived by one son, Lawrence Hanner, his wife, Jean of Ossineke; two daughters, Phyllis Tessmer, her husband, Kenneth of Alpena and Linda Wilds, her husband, Kenneth of Spruce; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; one sister Louise Lewis of Alpena; four brothers, Louis Kaiser of Arizona, Raymond Kaiser, his wife, Alice of Alpena Clare Kaiser, his wife, Geraldine of Alpena, and Francis Kaiser, and his wife Doris of Alpena.

Mrs. Hanner was preceded in death by two brothers, Donny and Robert Kaiser and two sisters Agnes Anderson and Adeline Kaiser.

Theresa is at Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P. M. Visitation will continue Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church from 10:00 A. M. until time of service at 11:00 A. M. with the Reverend Father Stan J. Bereda officiating.
