Harriett C. "Hattie" Guy, 91, of 631 Caring Street, Hillman, passed away Friday, April 11, 2008, at Medilodge of Hillman.

Born in Detroit on December 22, 1916 to the late John and Clara (Delimata) Lechowicz, she married Alvin W. Guy on August 17, 1940 in Detroit. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1977. Mrs. Guy had been employed as an inspector at Grand Haven Brass until 1965 and in 1973 they moved to Lachine from Detroit, in 1979 they moved to Hillman.

Surviving are several nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Guy will be at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman where friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. with Father Vianney C. Sipulski, OFM officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Bannan Funeral Home/Hillman .
