Robert Griffin, 50, of 2025 S. Third Ave., Alpena, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008, at home.

Born November 12, 1957 in Alpena to Robert and Maxine (Johnson) Griffin. Bob served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and he enjoyed boxing in his youth.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine; 1 son, Justin of Whitehall; 3 sisters, Millie (Dave) Smith of Indiana, Ann Griffin of Zeeland, Betty Culver of Holland; 1 brother, James (Theresa) of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and dearest friend, Gail Kline of Alpena.

Preceding him in death was his father, Robert.

Family and friends may call at the River of Life Christian Church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Bliss officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Bannan Funeral Home.
