Jeffery Scott Gierszewski, 40, of 9637 Beaver Lake Road, Hubbard Lake, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008.

Born on March 12, 1967 in Detroit to Harry and Betty (Clark) Gierszewski; he married the former Sue Struble on February 14, 1992. Scott was a very loving husband.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herron, an avid fisherman, a horseshoe champion, and enjoyed the outdoors.

Surviving are his wife, Sue; 2 stepchildren, Thomas (Shelly) Smith of New York, Khara Pyrkos of New York; 5 step-grandchildren; father, Harry of North Carolina; mother, Betty Hoppe of Lachine; grandmother, Helen Clark of Lachine; 2 brothers, Robert of Lachine, Eric (Alisa) Wodkowski of Alpena; 1 sister, Wendy (Craig) LaComb of Hubbard Lake; several nieces and nephews including his special ones, Joey and Justin Clark, Erica and Jeremy Wodkowski, Logan LaComb; and his faithful companion, Sadie Mae.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Bannan Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. and will continue Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herron from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Mikkelson officiating.
