Lomas H. "Pook" Eddy, 69, of 117 Catherine Street, Alpena, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, August 13, 2008.

Lomas was born in Alpena on November 25, 1938 to the late Lomas C. and Marie (O'Toole) Eddy. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era and married the former Doris Glazener on May 27, 1989. Mr. Eddy was the owner of Eddy's Plumbing. His joys were hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Doris; 5 stepchildren, Ted and Sue Gacobelli of Oxford, Carl Gacobelli of East Point, Michael Gacobelli of Alpena, Susan Berrisford of Alpena, Michelle Gacobelli of Alpena; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Arlene and Denny Chapman of Alpena; 2 brothers, Eugene Eddy of Alpena, Richard and Linda Eddy of Belleville; and a special cousin, Tom.
Mr. Eddy is at the Bannan Funeral Home where family and friends may call on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and will continue Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Alpena from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Manning officiating.
