Dennis Lee Dubey, 69, of 8844 Gutchess Rd., Alpena, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007.

Born on September 12, 1938 in Alpena to the late Earl and June (Dziesinski) Dubey and married Martha Wikaryasz on May 21, 1966. He was a co-owner of Alpena Aggregate and retired in 1999. Denny enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren at Long Lake, wood working and taking care of his garden.

Mr. Dubey is survived by his wife Marty; one son, Chad and wife Sara of Muskegon; two daughters, Tami and husband Dave Miller of Midland, Karri and husband Tom Smolinski of Lachine; five grandchildren: Maci and Elliott Miller, Emmitt, Zane and Jorja Smolinski; six siblings: Dora and Ray Stepanski, Clarence Dubey, Janet Brookbank, Wayne Dubey, Richard Dubey all of Alpena, and Deborah and Jim Piper of Hubbard Lake; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dubey is at Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Greg McCallum officiating.
