Joyce Ann (Strange) Diener, 58, of 1105 Mosquito Lane, Alpena, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2008, at Tendercare/Alpena.

Joyce was born on July 24, 1950 in Alpena to Floyd and Flora (Standen) McGinty. On July 8, 2006 she married Kirk Diener.

Mrs. Diener was a member of Under His Wings Christian Fellowship.

Surviving are her husband, Kirk; 2 children, Michele and Bryon Casler of Traverse City, Jasen Strange and fianceé Rayne Hamilton of North Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Steven, Kaysie; her mother, Flora McGinty of Alpena; 1 sister, Rosie and Kenny Patzer of Alpena; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her father, Floyd; brother, Alan; and sister, Linda Olsen.

Mrs. Diener is at the Bannan Funeral Home where family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Arthur Fournier officiating.
