a mechanic and truck driver for many years before retiring in 1988. James was a member of Spratt United Methodist Church and the Alpena
Antique Tractor and Steam Engine Club and always enjoyed a good card part=
y. Surviving are his wife Ruth, 2 sons: Raymond and wife Wanda of Alp=
ena.
