Jeffrey Paul DeRosia, 48, of 2424 Kavanaugh Street, Ossineke, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008.

Jeffrey was born in Alpena on February 5, 1959 to Kenneth and Virginia (Merrill) DeRosia. On July 29, 2005 he married the former Carol Howell. Mr. DeRosia was a chief engineer sailing on the Great Lakes.

He was a member of the Ossineke Eagles.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; 2 sons, Ian DeRosia of Ossineke, Christopher DeRosia of Essexville; his parents, Kenneth and Virginia of Hubbard Lake; and a sister, Heidi of Hubbard Lake.

Friends may call at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Euper officiating.
