Sandra "Sandi" Dal Gohlke, 58, of 16212 W. Long Lake, Alpena, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on Monday, August 25, 2008.

Sandi was born in Detroit on August 22, 1950 to George and Jacqueline (Danielson) Timmer and married David Gohlke. Mrs. Gohlke was a teacher at the Alpena Public Schools and recently retired.

Surviving are her husband of 13 years, David; son, Jonah DeLongchamp of Fenton; 2 stepdaughters, Cora (Kirk) Morgan and son Tyler of Roseville, Amanda (Ryan) Peirce and sons Cody and Gabe of Alpena; brothers, George (Angela) Timmer, Jr. of Arizona and Brian Timmer of Grand Rapids; and her father, George Timmer of Grand Rapids.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Jacqueline.

Visitation for Mrs. Gohlke will be held Tuesday at the Bannan Funeral home from 2-8 p.m. and will continue Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Owen Williams officiating.
