Betty J. Crawford, 79, 18252 M 32 East, Hillman, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at Medilodge of Hillman.

Born March 28, 1928 to Charles and Eva (McMann) Fandale in Saginaw and married Lewis W. Crawford December 6, 1948.  He preceded her in death January 21, 1981.  Betty loved her family and baking.

Betty is survived by eight children, Robert and wife Janice of Lachine; Duane and wife Pamela of Florida; Karen Mellingen and husband Mark of Hillman; Barbara Vogt and husband Billy of Hillman; Connie Cruson and husband R. A. of Hillman; Lewis, Jr. and wife Kathy of Hillman; Alan and wife Judith of Hillman; Tammie Mattish and husband Michael of Florida; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Fandale and wife Vera, and Charles Fandale and wife Janet; one sister, Ilene Henry and husband Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. 

Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by an infant son; granddaughter; two great- grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Armstrong, Lillie Hamman, Joyce Hodge; and one brother, William Fandale. 

Mrs. Crawford will be at St. John Lutheran Church in Royston on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and where funeral services will  be Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jason Mandley officiating.  Arrangements by Bannan Funeral Home.
