Katherine Linda Cordes, 60, of Hillman, "Graduated to Glory" on Friday, March 21, 2008.

The daughter of Alexander Gilmore Derosher and Mary Ellen (Brindley) Stone, Katherine was born in Ogemaw County on October 7, 1947. On July 2, 1966 she married Donald Cordes. Kay was known and loved for her GIVING spirit, TRUTH-filled words, HEALTHY coaching, and seemingly unlimited TIME! Her beautiful smile and open arms will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her husband, Donald; children, Thomas (Melissa) of Clarkston, Onalee (Matthew) Swartz of Gilbert, AZ, Nathan (Leslie) of Hillman, Adam of Hillman, daughter-of-the-heart, Naoko (Jee) Ku of Mundelein, IL; 11 grandchildren; 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Friends may call Tuesday at the Bannan Funeral Home in Hillman from 2-8 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday at Word of Life Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Celebration Service at 12 noon.
