Jeanette Kaye Clinton, 61, of 2032 N. Bagley St. Apt. 5, Alpena passed away Saturday October 6, 2007 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Born October 30, 1945 in Alpena to John and Catherine (Meredith) Cook and married Gary Clinton February 25, 1991.  He preceded her in death March 25, 1997.  Jeanette was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3890.

Surviving are 7 children Terry Yuker, Tamrya Krueger, Trudy Cooper, Todd Cooper, Tracy (Justin) Prekwas, Treasa Mauer, Jalynn (Jamie) Schnur; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her mother Catherine (Max) Houser; 6 brothers and sisters; John Cook, Judy (Jim) Myers, Linda (Norm) Linseman, Beverly (Dean) Nugent, Donald Cook, Mary (Kevin) Brazier; and several nieces and nephews, second husband J.C. Stilwell.

Mrs. Clinton was preceded in death by son Jason Stilwell in 1975, her father John Cook in 1982, husbands Gary Clinton in 1997 and Howard Yuker in 2005.

A celebration of Jeanette's life will be 2 p.m. on October 20th at the home of Earlene Chrzan in Lachine.  Cremation arrangements were handled by Bannan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alpena Cancer Center or VFW Auxiliary Post 3890.
