Dennis E. (Chopper) Chojnacki, 45, passed away Friday October 24, 2008 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petosky of a heart attack and stroke.

Born on November 1, 1962 in Rogers City to Joseph and Trudy (Fuhrman) Chojnacki. He is survived by 2 children Kylee and Jared Chojnacki of Petoskey, his father Joseph Chojnacki of Rogers City, 3 brothers Donald Chojnacki of Alpena, Daryl Chojnacki of Alpena, Leeland Smith of Portland, Oregon; 1 sister Darlene (James) Smith of Alpena, 2 nieces Jessica Chojnacki of Alpena, Breanna Smith of Alpena; and 1 nephew Christopher Smith of Alpena.

He was preceded in death by his mother Trudy Fuhrman and 2 daughters Chelsea and Sunni Chojnacki.

Mr. Chojnacki is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may on Monday from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Kendziorski officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
