Alma M. (St. Charles) Chaffin, formerly of 1138 Golf Course Rd., Alpena, died peacefully on January 23 in Fenton.

Alma was born October 24, 1917 in Hubbard Lake and was a long time Alpena resident before relocating to Crystal River, Florida in the early 1970‘s. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn N. Chaffin in 2000.

She is survived by two sons, William (Sandra) of Fenton, and Jere (Martha) of Gladwin, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Friends and family may call at the Bannan Funeral Home on Sunday, January 27 from 4-8 PM and on Monday from 10-11 AM preceding the funeral service at 11 AM. Internment will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
