LeAnn Carrette, 61, of 1220 Crestview, Alpena passed away Friday January 25, 2008 peacefully at home.

LeAnn was born November 12, 1946 to late Joseph and Bernadine (Potrikus) Carrette. She worked for the State of Michigan as a social worker until her retirement in 2001 and most recently was working at County Cousins in Alpena. She was involved with the Founder's Society of the Besser Museum, Board of Transportation for Dial A Ride, volunteering time for Art in the Loft. Leann also enjoyed sailing, racing and skiing.

She is survived by one sister Arlene Buse of Alpena, one brother Joseph Carrette of New York; her 4 very special nephews and niece; John O'Connor of Alpena, Pat O'Connor of Battle Creek, Arthur Carrette of California, and Kimberly Carrette of Long Island; 3 great nieces and nephews Jenny, Matt and Travis O'Connor with whom she truly enjoyed all the time she spent with them.

LeAnn was preceded in death by one nephew Joe O'Connor.

Per LeAnn's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements by Bannan Funeral Home.
