Nina Mae Bray, 91, of 616 W. Washington Ave., Alpena passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008 at home.

Born on May 5, 1917 in Crystal Falls, Michigan and married Raymond B. Bray on March 24, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona.  They moved to the Alpena area in 1946.  He preceded her in death on May 13, 1998.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Surviving are 2 daughters: Patricia (Mrs. Ernesto) Segura of Texas, Kathleen (Mrs. Raymond) Anderson of Alpena; 3 sons: Dennis and Lucille of Alpena, Richard                        of Alpena, Robert and Natalie of Washington; 9 grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Bray was preceded in death by one sister Lorraine Harding and one brother William Reynolds.

 

Mrs. Bray is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at St. John the Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until time of funeral mass at 2 p.m. with Rev. Patrick Maher officiating.
