Loretta M. Bradbury, 72, of Alpena passed away Sunday June 29, 2008 at Tendercare - Greenview.

Loretta May Ludlow was born July 6, 1935, and was a life long resident of Alpena. She owned and operated an adult foster care home for several years. Loretta volunteered in many organizations including the Salvation Army Church, VFW Women Auxiliary, the Friendship Room, Handicap Hall of Alpena, receiving many awards of recognition including in 1977 a letter of recognition from Governor Milliken. Her personal interest were camping, fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and one sister. Surviving are 2 daughters Susan Tadajewski of Lachine, Linda Eagleton of Alpena; 1 son Al Bradbury of Alpena; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother Lawrence Ludlow and 1 sister Betty Staggs both of Alpena, and several nieces and nephews. Loretta will be missed by family and friends, and always remain in the hearts of anyone that knew her.
