Carl Edward Braamse, 66, of 315 River St., Alpena, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008, at home.

Carl was born in Flushing, Michigan on December 12, 1941 to the late Dr. Wilson and Creta (Blakely) Braamse.  He enjoyed spending time at Hubbard Lake and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his daughter, Rebecca Ann and Jeff Dubuque of Freeland; one son, Mark Braamse of East Tawas; 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Evan Dubuque, Brandon and Dylan Braamse.

Preceding him in death was his brother, Dr. Jon Braamse.

Family and friends may call at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.
