Dorothy Nellie Blizzard, 74, of Alpena passed away Saturday February 9, 2008 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Dorothy Nellie Page was born September 1, 1933 in Alpena to Warren and Nellie (Sanger) Page and married Raymond E. Blizzard in May of 1953. He preceded her in death July of 1992.

She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, The Rebekka's and the Alpena Genealogy Society.

Surviving are 4 children: Linda Blizzard of Garden City, Warren and wife Deb Blizzard of Lincoln Park, Andrew and wife Elizabeth Blizzard of Taylor, and Kathleen Blizzard of Garden City, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 brother and 3 sister; Genevieve Campbell of Colorado, Jack and wife Helen Page, Mae Little and Pat Kennedy.

Mrs. Blizzard was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister Charles Page and Margaret Brown.

Mrs. Blizzard is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and where funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Orth officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
