Carolyn Ann Bartosh, 65, of 115 Garfield St., Alpena, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at home.

Born in Alpena on January 22, 1942 to Herbert and Alice (Richards) Hein, she married Alan Bartosh on August 20, 1963.  Mrs. Bartosh was employed as an elementary teacher with Alpena Public Schools until retiring from Sunset Elementary in 2004.

She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Basket Guild, and Friends Together.

Surviving are her husband, Alan; 2 daughters, Leisa of Alpena, Karen of Montana; a son, Mark, of Montana; 8 grandchildren:  Gabrielle of Alpena, Alyssa, Caitlin, Miranda, Brandon, Kierstin, Danielle, and Baylen all of Montana; 2 brothers, Richard Hein of Hawks, James and Donna Hein of Alpena; 1 sister, Jennifer and Robert Arndt of Saginaw; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bartosh is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Monday from 2-8 p.m. and where the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Patrick Maher officiating.
