Julia Baldelli (1908-2008) died peacefully in her sleep at home on April 25, 2008, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was predeceased by her father, Tony Yakutis, her mother Mary and her three sisters Helen, Ann, and Mary. Julia was also predeceased by her husband Joe and their beloved daughter Betty Jean Wilebski. She is survived by her family, Sam and Lou Wilebski of Rose City, Carol (Phil) Motell of Endicott, N.Y., Linda (Bob) Kasprzyk of Rose City, nieces and grandchildren, and special friends Donna, Hilda and many others.

Born in Taylorville, IL., Julia was a coal miners' daughter with a love of nature and a zest for life. She was a longtime member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Ossineke, MI where she enjoyed participating in the ladies groups and playing bingo. She later attended Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch. Julia was well known for her crocheting, knitting, and flower gardening. Irises were her prized possession. She also enjoyed dancing, especially polkas. Even at the age of Ninety-nine, it was difficult for her to keep her feet still whenever a lively polka tune was played.

Private memorial services will be held at the family's convenience, and interment will be at St. Catherine Cemetery in Ossineke, MI. Donations in Julia's memory may be made to the Hospice of Helping Hands in West Branch, MI or the Horizan Senior Living Center in St. Helen.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the excellent staff at the Horizon Senior Living Center for their kindness and empathy. Julia's family also extends a special thank you to Lori and Barbara for their copassionate care, and the spiritual support they received by Hospice, Glenn Painter, and Fr. Miro Weise.
