Betty L. Anderson, 85, of 203 Partridge Avenue, Alpena, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 10, 2008.

Betty was born in Kitchener, Ontario on October 28, 1922 to the late John and Edith (Bott) Quesnel. On May 16, 1942 she married Waldo Anderson.

Mrs. Anderson attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena.

She is survived by her husband, Waldo; 2 daughters, Mary Jane Wysocki of Alpena, Barbara and Joel Cottingham of Washington, Michigan; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Dale and Jean of Kitchener, Ontario.

Mrs. Anderson is at Bannan Funeral Home where family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. and where the funeral will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
