Albert J. Gagne, 83, of 608 Mac Ave, Alpena passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 at his home.

Born on October 16, 1926 in Flint to the late Francis and Florence (Adrian) Gagne and married Beverly Davis on November 29, 1947. Al served in the Merchant Marines and the Coast Guard during W.W.II, and later worked at National Gypsum until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, active with Boy Scouts of America, and square dancing.

Surviving are his wife: Beverly; 4 children: Cynthia Burritt of Virginia, Debra and husband Abed Hamdan of Virginia, Jay Gagne of Montana, Bruce and wife Pam Gagne of Montana; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Mr. Gagne was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Delores Stark and Lorraine "Peggy" Monroe.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements where handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
