Donald T. French, 82, of 10795 Piper Road, Ossineke, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Country Care Home.

Mr. French was born in Sanborn Twp. on March 24, 1926 to the late Richard and Clara (Killenger) French. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army, and later was a self-employed builder.

Mr. French was a member of the D.A.V. of Alpena.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were 4 sisters, 4 brothers, and long-time companion, Laura Carriveau.

Friends may call at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. James Kendziorski officiating.
