Eugene Lomas Eddy, 73, of 116 E. Lake Street, Alpena, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Tendercare/Alpena.

Eugene was born in Alpena on December 16, 1935 to the late Lomas and Marie (O'Toole) Eddy and married Gloria Connon on May 3, 1979. Gloria preceded him in death on July 13, 2004.

Surviving are 4 children, Pam and Tim Moore, Tommy Eddy, Jim and Rebecca Frasier, Dave and Renee Eddy; 4 grandchildren, Gabriel, David, Christopher, Vince; sister, Arlene and Denny Chapman; brother, Dick and Linda Eddy; and sisters-in-law, Doris Eddy and Ruth VanSimaeys.

Preceding him in death was his brother, Lomas "Pook" Eddy.

Mr. Eddy is at the Bannan Funeral Home where family and friends may call on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon.
